Admission and preparation

Nursing staff will complete admission checks and help you change into hospital clothing. You will then move to the pre-operative area, where you will meet Angus, the anaesthetist and members of the theatre team.

A support person may be able to remain with you during part of this preparation, subject to hospital policy, but cannot enter the operating theatre.
