Getting home safely

You must not drive yourself home. Arrange for a responsible adult to collect you and stay with you for at least the first night after a general anaesthetic or day-stay procedure.

Follow the written instructions about medication, wound care, activity and emergency symptoms. Individual instructions from Angus and the hospital take priority over general website guidance.
