Your first follow-up
Your first follow-up appointment after an operation is usually about 10 days after surgery. The exact date will be confirmed in your discharge information. Further appointments and any X-rays are arranged according to your procedure and recovery.
Contact the practice earlier if pain is worsening unexpectedly, the wound becomes increasingly red or begins to drain, you develop a fever, or you have concerns about mobility or medication.
